At the start of 2022, the Neys van Hoogstraten Foundation started a collaboration with Bogor Agricultural University (IBP): Program of Inter-university Collaboration for Enhancing Research Capabilities on Food and Nutrition Security in Selected Areas in Indonesia

The programme is set up for five years and aims to stimulate research on food and nutrition security and to strengthen the research capabilities in this field at four academic institutions in Indonesia, i.e. IPB (West Java), Mulawarman University (East Kalimantan), Tadulako University (Central Sulawesi) and Health Polytechnic of Mataram (West Nusa Tenggara).

The general objective of the programme is:

Strengthening research capabilities on household food and nutrition security in relation to socioeconomic status, culture, and gender among lecturers and PhD students at IPB University, Mulawarman University, Tadulako University and Health Polytechnic of Mataram; and developing a policy-relevant body of knowledge on food and nutrition security in rural and urban West Java, East Kalimantan, Central Sulawesi, and West Nusatenggara.
